3rd Ethiopian Water & Energy Week
LEBIZU is pleased to take part in the 3rd Ethiopian Water and Energy Week (EWEW), hosted by the Ministry of Water and Energy at the Addis Ababa Science Museum.
This year’s week runs under the theme “Advancing Science, Policy, and Partnerships for a Water-Energy Secure Future.” It brings together government, development partners, academia and the private sector, with more than 2,000 delegates expected. Its purpose is to connect research with policy and practice across the water-energy-food-ecosystems nexus.
The programme opens on 26 October with keynotes and a high-level plenary, followed by Energy Day on 27 October. Water Day on 28 October covers integrated water resources management, groundwater mapping and WASH. The 14th Multi-Stakeholder Forum takes place on 29 October, and the Hydro-Diplomacy and Communication Forum closes the week on 30 October.
We are joining to listen, learn and meet the people shaping Ethiopia’s water and energy future. The best work often begins with a good conversation, and a week like this is where many of them start.
Let’s connect
We would be glad to meet government institutions, development partners, NGOs, utilities, research bodies and private companies. We also welcome individual professionals, including engineers, hydrogeologists, GIS specialists, researchers and consultants. We are open to future partnerships, joint proposals, and an exchange of ideas on water, GIS and mapping, and related consultancy.
If you will be at the Science Museum that week, please come and say hello. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to contact us through the following lines.
